Huawei SRNM project - 2G Vodafone SWAP

The purpose of the project consists in the capacity upgrade and migration of the Vodafone Romania radio network towards the IP technology using Huawei equipments both for radio links and for BSC cabinets. The existing NEC, Ericsson, and Nortel equipments have been replaced.

Basic activities performed in the project implementation:

• Project Management
• Site Survey
• Site Engineering, Civil Works
• Supply of installation kit: cables, connectors, accessories
• Installation, testing radio equipments
• Installation of radiant system: feeders, cables and RF antennas
• Installation BSC cabinets
• SWAP of radio equipments and data transmission
• Integration, commissioning and acceptance
• Uninstalling and transport of equipments to the beneficiary’s storage facility: radio equipments, radiant systems, RF antennas, BSC cabinets

Radio equipments used:

• Alcatel, Huawei Point-to-Point radio links
• Radiant system and cabinets provided by Huawei
• Re-location, uninstalling, configuration of telecommunication equipments: NEC, Ericsson, Nortel radio links, radio equipments
